This issue may occur if the MIDI channel for the track in the imported file is set to channel 4 or higher. The organ instrument in GarageBand responds only on channels 1 through 3. MIDI notes on channel 1 trigger the upper register of the organ, channel 2 - the lower register and channel 3 - the foot pedals. ]]></content:encoded>

Logic Pro/Express and GarageBand may quit unexpectedly when starting on a computer with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard if Melodyne 3.x is also installed.

 <h4>Solution</h4>
 <P>
 The issue is caused by Melodyne's ReWire support. To resolve it:
<ol>
<li>Go to <tt>/Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/Rewire</tt>. Move the files "MelodyneRewireDevice" and "MelodyneRewireDevice.plugin" to the Trash.</li>
<li>Go to <tt>/Library/Application Support</tt> and move the alias "MelodyneRewireDevice" to the Trash.</li>
</ol>
