In Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard's .Mac preferences (in System Preferences), your last sync may incorrectly be noted as having occurred "Today", even if you have not synced yet today.

You can sync various data types using .Mac Sync in Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5 or later.  In order sync your computer with .Mac, you  need to &quot;register&quot; your computer for syncing.</p>

<h4>Register a computer for syncing</h4>
<p>Simply open System Preferences, click .Mac,  then click the Sync tab.  When you check (enable) &quot;Synchronize with .Mac&quot;, if your computer is not already registered, it will automatically be registered.  </p>
<p>Or, you can manually register your computer by doing the following:</p>
