Faces makes it easy to find and view the photos of your favorite people.

iPhoto detects all the faces in photos throughout your library, and then uses face-recognition technology to group likely matches together.

Then you put names to the faces of your family and friends. After you assign names, iPhoto suggests additional photos to add to each collection. The end result: fast access to the photos of the people you care about most.

Start with Faces for all the fun and creative projects you can do in iPhoto: slideshows, books, calendars, cards, and prints. Or use Faces to quickly publish photos of your favorite people to your MobileMe Gallery, Facebook, Flickr, iWeb, or your own website.

You can also add full names and email addresses to each Faces group, which is useful when you publish photos of your Facebook friends to Facebook. If an email address matches a Facebook ID, Facebook can alert your friend that new photos of him or her are now online.
