Using JBoss

JBoss is a widely used full-featured Java application server. It provides a full Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology stack with features such as:

• An Enterprise Java Bean (EJB) container
• Java Management Extensions (JMX)
• Java Connector Architecture (JCA)

You can set JBoss to start automatically whenever the server starts up. This ensures that the JBoss module starts up after a power failure or after the server shuts down for any reason. You use the Server Admin or Terminal application to enable JBoss; see JBoss for details.
