Viewing long message headers

In MobileMe Mail on the web, you can set a preference that enables you to display long headers for your messages. Long headers include detailed information about the message, including its return and delivery paths, the “Reply-to” field, its content type, the original recipient, and more.

To view long message headers:

  1. In MobileMe Mail on the web, choose Preferences from the Action pop-up menu in the toolbar at the top of the window.

  2. Click Viewing at the top of the preferences pane.

  3. Click the checkbox next to “Enable Show long headers,” and then click Save.

  4. Click a message in your inbox to open it. By default, it shows the short header.

  5. Click the Show Long Headers link in the upper-right corner of the email. The header expands to show the additional information.
