MobileMe Gallery Help

If you have iLife ’08 or Aperture 2 (or later), you can create a Gallery by publishing photos directly from iPhoto or Aperture, or by publishing movies from iMovie.

To create a Gallery using iPhoto, iMovie, or Aperture, do one of the following:

  • Using iPhoto, select the item (a photo, an album, or a movie) you want to publish to your Gallery, click the MobileMe button at the bottom of the window, and then follow the onscreen instructions.

If you choose to limit who can view the album (by adding a name and password from the “Album Viewable by” pop-up menu), the protected album appears with a small lock icon in your Gallery.

  • Using iMovie, select the project you want to publish to your Gallery, choose Share > MobileMe Gallery, choose your settings, and then click Publish.

  • Using Aperture, select the photo or album you want to publish to your Gallery, choose File > “New from Selection,” and then select Gallery. Choose your settings, and then click Publish.

If you choose to limit who can view the album (by adding a name and password from the “Album Viewable by” pop-up menu), the protected album appears with a small lock icon in your Gallery.

For more information, open Help in iPhoto, Aperture, or iMovie, and search for “Gallery.”

After you publish your Gallery, friends and family can visit it by typing its URL into a web browser: gallery.me.com/[YourMemberName].
