MobileMe Gallery Help

Using the Gallery application, you can create a Gallery album to share your pictures with friends and family over the Internet. You can add .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif, images, or .mov, .m4v, .mp4, .3gp. .3g2, .mpg, .mpeg, .avi, video clips to your Gallery album.

Note: If you’re using a Mac and have iLife ’08 (or later), the Gallery you create is automatically added to your iPhoto or Aperture album list (depending on which is selected in your MobileMe sync settings; see Related Topics below).

To create a Gallery album using the Gallery application:

  1. Click the Add (+) button at the bottom of the sidebar (on the left).

  2. Type a name for the album in the Album Name field.

  3. Choose whether you want to allow visitors to upload or download photos, add photos via email, or see photo titles or the Gallery email address. (For more information, see Related Topics below.)

  4. Click Create.

  5. Click the Upload button, and then choose the photos or video clips you want to add to the album.

    Note: You cannot upload aliases or QuickTime Reference movies.

  7. Click Done.

    Friends and family can visit your Gallery by typing its URL into a web browser: gallery.me.com/[YourMemberName].

If you’re using a Mac, you can also upload albums to your Gallery directly from iPhoto ’08 or Aperture 2 (or later), or upload high quality movies directly from iMovie ’08 (or later). For more information, open iPhoto, Aperture, or iMovie and choose Help from the Help menu.
