To add photos from your desktop to your Gallery:

1. In the Gallery application sidebar (on the left), select the photo album you want to add to.

2. Click the Upload button above the album, and then follow the onscreen instructions.

   You can add .jpg, .png, or .gif photo formats. You cannot upload RAW images to a Gallery from your desktop. If you want to add RAW images to your Gallery, you need to create your Gallery using Aperture 2 (or later). For more information about creating a Gallery using Aperture, see Related Topics below.

   To select more than one file at a time, press the Shift key and click to select adjacent files, or press the Command key (on a Mac) or the Control key (on Windows) and click to select non-adjacent files.

   While the photo is being transferred to your Gallery, you can stop the transfer by clicking the “x” to the right of the filename in the Uploads window, or by closing the window.
