Creating a copy of your iDisk
Your iDisk is personal storage space on Apple’s Internet servers. You can create a copy of your iDisk on your computer so you can make changes to it at any time, even when you’re not connected to the Internet.
To create a copy:
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click .Mac.
If necessary, sign in to your .Mac account.
Click the iDisk tab.
In the iDisk Syncing section, click Start. You can select to sync automatically or manually.
Close .Mac preferences.
With iDisk Sync turned on, an iDisk icon appears on your desktop, in the sidebar in Finder windows, and in the Save dialog when you save documents. You can use your iDisk even when you’re not connected to the Internet.
If you change your iDisk storage amount, your local iDisk is resized automatically.
Changes you make to the iDisk on your computer are synchronized with your iDisk on .Mac while you’re connected to the Internet.
