Mac OS X 10.5 Help
Copying files to and from your iDisk
You can copy files to your iDisk to back them up or share them with other people.
To copy files to or from an iDisk:
To make sure you are in the Finder, click the desktop (the background area of your screen).
Choose Go > iDisk > My iDisk.
Drag files to or from the folders in the iDisk window. To remove items from your iDisk, drag them to the Trash.
You can’t copy files to the top level of the iDisk. You must copy files into one of the folders.
If iDisk synchronization is turned on, make sure that the iDisk on your computer is synchronized with your iDisk on .Mac.
Your iDisk continues to be available until you disconnect it or shut down your computer.
For convenience, you can create a copy of your iDisk on your computer and make changes to it at any time, even when you’re not connected to the Internet. To keep the iDisk copy close at hand, try placing its icon in the Finder window sidebar.
