Using iDisk to share files

You can use your iDisk to share files with anyone on the Internet.

To share your iDisk:

Step 1

Choose Go > iDisk > My iDisk.

Step 2

Copy files you want to share to the Public folder.

Step 3

If iDisk synchronization is turned on, be sure that the iDisk on your computer is synchronized with your iDisk on .Mac.

Step 4

Give your .Mac member name to others so they can connect to your Public folder using either a Mac or Windows computer.

Don’t give your .Mac password to anyone. Other people need only your member name and Public folder password (if you use one) to see what’s in your Public folder.
