Mac OS X 10.5 Help
Setting up Bluetooth connections
Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows computers and devices to communicate without using the many cables that traditionally connect devices together.
Bluetooth enabled devices, such as computers, mobile phones, and personal digital assistants (PDAs), can connect to each other wirelessly at distances up to 10 meters (33 feet).
To set up a Bluetooth device to work with your computer:
Click Add (+).
Choose the type of device you want to set up and follow the onscreen instructions.
If you don’t see Bluetooth in System Preferences, your computer is not Bluetooth enabled.
To find out more, open the Bluetooth File Exchange (in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder) and choose Help > Bluetooth Help.
