My iSub isn't working

If your iSub subwoofer isn't working, make sure it's plugged into a USB port on your computer and into a working power outlet. If you still can't hear any sound through your iSub, you should check your system sound settings.

Note: If you are using an Intel-based computer, an iSub will only work when USB speakers or a USB audio interface device are connected to the computer and selected as the default output device in Sound preferences.

To check your system sound settings:

  1. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Sound.
  2. Click Output, and then make sure:
  3. The “iSub volume” slider is not all the way to the left.

The iSub Mute checkbox is not selected.
