Checking the status of a print job

You can find out when your documents finish printing or see whether all print jobs to a specific printer are stopped.

While your document is printing, click the printer's icon in the Dock.

The Status column shows whether the document is printing or on hold. If all print jobs to this printer have been stopped, "Jobs Stopped" appears next to the printer's icon.

To resume a print job that is on hold, select it and click Resume.

To resume all print jobs after they've been stopped, click Start Jobs. To stop all print jobs to this printer, click Stop Jobs.

If you want to delete a print job, select it and click Delete.

You cannot hold or stop print jobs on another user's shared printer.
