Discover Address Book
Address Book provides a flexible and convenient way to store your contact information online. Because Address Book is integrated with Mail, iChat, and other applications, you have to enter information only once to have your contacts available from all these applications.

It's easy to enter contact information in Address Book cards. Add as many address, telephone, and email fields as you need, and customize labels as you like. Create groups of contacts and access network directories. If you have existing contact information in other applications, you can import vCards, LDIF files, and tab-delimited and comma-separated values (CSV) text files to get that information into Address Book.

New search features make it faster than ever to find the information you're looking for. Add keywords to the Notes field to create groups of contacts for family members, coworkers, and community organizations. Use the new Smart Groups feature to create groups that update themselves. Print out lists, labels, envelopes, and pocket-sized address books. With a .Mac account, you can share your address book online with friends and family. Use Address Book to dial your cell phone and to send and receive SMS messages.

iSync lets you keep your address book current on your Bluetooth and iSync-compatible phones and Palm devices. With a .Mac account, you can also synchronize your address book across all your computers so that you never have to be without your current address book. Back up your valuable address book data manually, or have Address Book back up your information on a regular schedule. |
