Editing a contact

You can edit the names, phone numbers, instant message addresses, or other information stored in your address book.

  • In Address Book, select the card that you want to change, then choose Edit > Edit Card or click the Edit button.

  • To remove a field, delete the information the field contains. Empty fields disappear when you click the Edit button again.

  • To add additional fields, click the Add (+) button next to a field. The button appears after you've filled in the existing field. (Some fields can't be duplicated, such as the name fields.)
