eMac: About line voltage
The computer's power supply is factory preset for single voltage operation, at either 110 V or 220 V.
The voltage is preset by Apple to the appropriate voltage for the country of sale.
The preset operating voltage can be verified by consulting the printed voltage on the base user access door.
You can use the computer in a foreign location if you use a step-down, or step-up isolation transformer to adapt the voltage. Technically, usage is not limited to a country, but to an electrical current. For more information, see technical document 129: "World Power Differences Can Limit International Product Use."
Note: The operating voltage is not auto-switching or user adjustable, and changing power settings is not covered by the Apple limited warranty.
