Power Mac G4 (Mirrored Drive Doors), Power Mac G4 (FW 800): PCI Slot Power Consumption Specification

This document lists the power consumption of the PCI slots in the Power Mac G4 (Mirrored Drive Doors) and Power Mac G4 (FW 800) computers.

The table below lists the power consumption of the PCI slots.

Notes

1. Each current listed is a maximum for that voltage rail (a DC voltage source from a segment of the power supply). Any 15 W expansion card should not consume more than 15 W of total power. One 15 W card would leave 45 W total for the remaining three slots.

2. Each current listed is a maximum for that voltage rail. Any 25 W expansion card should not consume more than 25 W of total power. One 25 W card would leave 35 W total power for the remaining three sots.

3. A total of 75 W of power available for all mass storage devices.
