You can have the date, time, and time zone of your computer set automatically by using a network time server.

Open System Preferences and click Date & Time. Click the Network Time tab and select the "Use network time server" checkbox. Choose a server from the pop-up menu or type the DNS name of an NTP server.

If you don't know the name of a network time server, contact your system administrator.
