Important Information About Scanner 4.3
What Is Scanner 4.3?

Scanner 4.3 is a new version of the driver for Apple scanners that addresses a compatibility problem with some PCI SCSI cards including the SCSI card available as an option for the Power Macintosh G3 (Blue and White).

Scanner 4.3 works with Ofoto v2.0.1 or later and Apple Color OneScanner software v2.0 or later.

Note: This driver only addresses compatibility problems between Apple scanners and PCI SCSI cards. If your Apple scanner is not connected through a PCI SCSI card, then you do not need this update.

Installation Requirements

Power Macintosh computer with North American English Mac OS 8.5 or later.

Installing Scanner 4.3

To install Scanner 4.3, follow these steps.


    1. If you have an older version of the Scanner driver installed, remove it from the Extensions folder (in the System Folder).

    2. Drag the new Scanner file on top of your closed System Folder. The system will automatically put it in the Extensions folder, where it needs to go.

    3. Restart the computer.
