Power Macintosh G3 (Blue and White): Removing the Top Front Handle

Preliminary Steps

No preliminary steps are required before you begin this procedure.

Procedure

    1. Using a 2.5 mm allen wrench, remove the two allen screws.

    2. Lift the handle from the computer.

 


    3. Now install the replacement part. Replacement Note: When installing the handles (top front and top rear) orient them so that the three tiny bumps on the handle are in the orientation shown in the photo. The handle won't fit if it's turned upside down. The top front and top rear handles are interchangeable.
